Slavka Ve\u010derina obilje\u017eena je 26. kolovoza. U katedrali sv. Terezije Avilske slu\u017eena je sveta misa koju je u zajedni\u0161tvu s bra\u0107om sve\u0107enicima predvodio biskup Suboti\u010dke biskupije Franjo Fazekas.<\/p><p>Biskup je okupljene vjernike pozvao da mole za biskupa Ve\u010derina i vje\u010dni spas njegove du\u0161e, ali da se moli i za duhovna zvanja koja su, kako je rekao zaista potrebna na\u0161oj Crkvi.<\/p><p>U prigodnoj homiliji biskup Frazekas osvrnuv\u0161i se na evan\u0111elje rekao je: \u00bbU dana\u0161njoj evan\u0111eoskoj zgodi, \u0160imun Petar pu\u0161taju\u0107i Isusa u svoju la\u0111u, uvodi Ga u svoju svakodnevicu, u svoj \u017eivot i tako postaje sudionik Isusova poslanja. Isus iz Petrove la\u0111e navije\u0161ta Bo\u017eju rije\u010d svima okupljenima, zatim progovara Petru: &#8216;izvezi na pu\u010dinu i bacite mre\u017ee za lov&#8217; (Lk 5,4). Petar, kao iskusan ribar smatra ovu molbu besmislenom, ali ipak poslu\u0161a svoga u\u010ditelja. To je njegovo povjerenje i duboko po\u0161tovanje prema Isusu, koji ima vlast i mo\u0107 nad vodom i sveukupnom prirodom. I zaista, ulovili su mnogo riba u ono doba dana, kada to ljudski nije mogu\u0107e\u00ab, rekao je me\u0111u ostalim biskup Fazekas i podsjetio okupljene da je i na\u0161 pokojni biskup Slavko nekada hrabro prihvatio Isusov poziv, kako bi i\u0161ao Njegovim stopama, da lovi srca na moru \u017eivota.<\/p><p>Nakon svete mise, sve\u0107enici i redovnici okupili su se ispred groba biskupa Ve\u010derina, blagoslovili ga, te s vjernicima skupa molili za vje\u010dni spas njegove du\u0161e.<\/p><p>Podsje\u0107anja radi, mons. Slavka Ve\u010derina papa Franjo imenovao je suboti\u010dkim biskupom 8. rujna 2020. godine, te je 14. studenoga u suboti\u010dkoj katedrali-bazilici sv. Terezije Avilske zare\u0111en za biskupa. Ro\u0111en je 6. lipnja 1957. godine u Subotici, a nakon osnovne i srednje \u0161kole, kao bogoslov Suboti\u010dke biskupije od 1976. do 1983. godine poha\u0111ao je Katoli\u010dko bogoslovni \u00a0fakultet, filozofsko-teolo\u0161ki studij u Zagrebu. Za sve\u0107enika Suboti\u010dke biskupije zare\u0111en je 14. kolovoza 1983. godine. Preminuo je 26. kolovoza 2022. godine u Kikindi, a pokopan je u kripti suboti\u010dke katedrale sv.
