Santo Rocco Gangemi, objavio je 18. o\u017eujka 2024. godine, sve\u0107enicima i predstavnicima medija, okupljenima u Biskupskom ordinarijatu u Zrenjaninu, da je Mirko \u0160tefkovi\u0107, dosada\u0161nji ekonom Suboti\u010dke biskupije, imenovan novim zrenjininskim biskupom.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2fa54ae3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2fa54ae3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Na po\u010detku tog sve\u010danog \u010dina, koji je zapo\u010deo to\u010dno u podne, mons. Ladislav Nemet, beogradski nadbiskup, pozdravio je nazo\u010dne, te su svi zajedno najprije izmolili molitvu An\u0111eo Gospodnji. Potom je on pozvao nuncija da se obrati nazo\u010dnima.<br \/>Nuncij Gangemi je okupljene podsjetio da je zrenjaninski biskup mons. Ladislav Nemet 5. studenoga 2022. godine imenovan beograskim nadbiskupom, te je bilo potrebno providjeti novog zrenjaninskog biskupa. Imaju\u0107i to u vidu, papa Franjo je imenovao mons. Mirka \u0160tefkovi\u0107a novim zrenjaninskim biskupom. Nuncij je pozvao sve\u0107enike i vjernike da s ljubavlju prihvate novog biskupa, a njemu je po\u017eelio Bo\u017eji blagoslov u povjerenoj mu slu\u017ebi.<br \/>Potom se nazo\u010dnima obratio nadbiskup Nemet, koji je u ime Zrenjaninske biskupije pozdravio novog biskupa i za\u017eelio mu dobrodo\u0161licu. On je izrazio \u017eelju, da biskupija s novim<br \/>biskupom nastavi svoj put s jo\u0161 ve\u0107im poletom.<br \/>Najzad se okupljenima obratio i imenovani biskup \u0160tefkovi\u0107, koji je izrazio svoje iznena\u0111enje ovim imenovanjem. On je zamolio nuncija da Papi Franji prenese njegovu zahvalu za povjerenje koje mu je iskazao. \u201eSvjestan sam ozbiljnosti slu\u017ebe koju mi sveta majka Crkva povjerava, no istodobno sam svjestan i toga da u svemu ovome ne\u0107u biti sam, nego da s punim povjerenjem mogu ra\u010dunati na narod Bo\u017eji, na sve\u0107enike i vjernike laike ove drage i plemenite banatske ravnice\u201c \u2013 istaknuo je. On je nadodao kako se raduje \u201esuradnji sa svima \u2013 bez obzira na vjersku, nacionalnu ili bilo kakvu drugu vrstu pripadnosti \u2013 kojima je na srcu dobrobit svakog pojedinca i cijele dru\u0161tvene zajednice u Banatu i \u0161ire\u201c. Na kraju svog obra\u0107anja mons. \u0160tefkovi\u0107 je pozvao sve\u0107enike i vjernike da ga uklju\u010de u svoje molitve, te je zaklju\u010dio: \u201eNeka nam svima Isus Krist udijeli milost, da On sam po nama bude trajno prisutan u ovoj na\u0161oj mjesnoj Crkvi, kako bi svi oni kojima smo poslani biti bli\u017enjima po nama mogli iskusiti njegovu blizinu i milosr\u0111e.\u201c<br \/>Na kraju ovog susreta nadbiskup Nemet je zahvalio svima na dolasku, te je obznanio da \u0107e biskupsko re\u0111enje novog zrenjaninskog biskupa biti 1. lipnja 2024. godine u zrenjaninskoj katedrali s
